Agreeing to these terms

By accessing or using Pitch In Now, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pitch In Now. If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

What the service does

Pitch In Now lets organizers create events, describe jobs, supplies, or shifts, share an event link, and collect responses. Participants can choose how they will help. The service is currently provided free of charge.

Accounts and event links

You are responsible for activity through your email-authenticated account and for keeping access to your email secure. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account or an event has been accessed without permission.

Public event links are unlisted, not private. Anyone with the link can view the event and may share it with others. Organizers are responsible for deciding where and with whom to share a link.

Your responsibilities

Organizers are responsible for their events, event content, invitations, and the accuracy of the quantities and schedule they publish. Participants are responsible for the information they provide and for communicating with the organizer if their plans change.

Organizers may use participant contact information only to coordinate the relevant event. They may not sell it, use it for unrelated marketing, or otherwise misuse it.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Pitch In Now a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for having the right to submit the content you provide.

Acceptable use

Do not use Pitch In Now to:

• break the law, threaten, harass, deceive, impersonate, or harm someone;
• send spam or collect participant information for unrelated marketing;
• upload malware, probe for vulnerabilities, disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, or bypass access controls or rate limits;
• submit highly sensitive information such as passwords, Social Security numbers, financial account details, or medical records; or
• infringe someone else’s privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.

We may remove content, restrict access, or suspend use when reasonably necessary to protect people, the service, or comply with law.

Real-world events

Pitch In Now provides organizing software, not background checks, emergency services, medical advice, transportation, supervision, or a guarantee that an organizer or participant will follow through. Use appropriate judgment for the event and the people involved.

Service availability

We work to keep Pitch In Now reliable, but the service may change, be interrupted, or stop. We may add, change, or remove features and may suspend or end access for abuse or other legitimate operational reasons.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by law, Pitch In Now is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or meet every need.

To the extent permitted by law, Pitch In Now and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or harm arising from a real-world event or another user’s conduct. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

Indiana law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Indiana, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised terms here and update the effective date. Continuing to use Pitch In Now after new terms take effect means you accept them.
